FIFA has selected Nepal among ten nations of the world for its pilot project named ´Goal Football Project´.

A press release issued by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Thursday states that FIFA will provide US$ 400,000 to Nepal for a period of three years under the project.

FIFA representatives are in Nepal for an observation tour for the project. The team members include David Borja, senior manager (Development Programme Asia), Jean-Michel Benezet, technical director (Member Associations & Development Division) and Chrysantha Perere, FIFA assistant development officer, Colombo.

Under FIFA´s field of cooperation, Benezet advised ANFA to form an academy model with 125 players under the age group categories of 14, 16 and 18.

Guys, its a great opportunity for all who love playing football (and play well).
Lets hope together to see Nepal playing world cup soon.
