Bringing the three genres of rap, rock and reggae together, the first House of Music festival is set to mesmerize Kathmandu’s music lovers in the beautiful ambience of Patan Museum today.
Sanjay Shrestha, one of the organizers and also a band member of Joint Family, shares that they always wanted to do this festival. And this time around seemed like the right moment to do it.
“House of Music has always been about promoting music. The bands in the lineup are really good at what they do, and this festival is trying to bring some good music for people to enjoy,” says Shrestha.

With Lyrics Inthependense (LI) for rap, Albatross for rock, and Joint Family Internationale for reggae, the lineup doesn’t get any better than those.
