Nepal : Military Training Proposal

The sub-committee of the Constitutional Council on Friday rejected the UCPN (Maoist) proposal to include a provision of compulsory military training to the population of above 18 years of age in the new constitution.
The meeting of the sub-committee formed to solve contentious issues in the statute-drafting process made such decision this morning.

Emerging from the meeting, sub-committee coordinator and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal informed that they have agreed not to include such provision in the constitution.
Today's meeting was shortened due to the mass gathering of the Nepali Congress.
Now, lets comment on this, would you like to be trained (military) when you grow 18, so that you can contribute to the nation if necessary?
